Dave Trimble has been a racer nearly all his life starting on Italjet 50 at age 3.  After racing BMX and claiming multiple wins, including an Ohio State championship, Dave returned to MX on a YZ 80.  At the age of 12 he started riding a Honda 250R.  At age 14 Dave hit the track in Dist. 10.  By the age of  18 he was racing Dist.11, finally on his own quad.  Dave hit some nationals here and there but never chased a championship.  In 2002, just after getting married, Dave and Holly began attending the AMA MX  Nationals in 2002.  Falling short of a top 10, he made another attempt the following year.  The 2003 race season was cut short near the 3rd round due to a severly broken collar bone that required surgery.  It was time for retirement and start a family.  In 2006 he purchased a used Honda 450r to try to get into shape.  That winter Dave hit the track once again claiming the 2006-07 Earlywine Indoor Vet 30+ Championship followed by 2 more consecutive titles.  In 2009 Dave ventured back to the AMA ATV MX Nationals in hopes to chase the points once again.  Finally, Dave earned a top 5 in the Vet 30 + Class in attending 6 rounds, followed by 2 KY State race wins at Ballance MX and Bar2Bar MX. Dave  raced 2 classes  in 2010 at the Nationals. With mechanical issues ( out of  his  control) and  a injury before the final 2 rounds. Dave  still managed  a  7th in the  highly competitve 25+ and  8th in 30+ A  Class.
